For reading I read with Miss Northe we read a stories and poems. I like reading stories.

Writing a letter

We had to write a letter to someone and why. I was writing for supplies. We also had to do a plan. 

WALT: write an imaginative letter from another planet using the correct letter format.

Use interesting sentence beginnings and a variety of sentence lengths

Use adverbs and adjectives to describe details in my sentences

MY NEXT STEPS: to add more detail

Journey to Pluto

Task: write a set of instructions on how to get from Earth to a planet of your choice.

WALT:

- a chosen planet’s location in the solar system.

- a chosen planet’s distance from earth.

- planets you will pass by to get to the chosen planet.

- obstacles that may be on the journey, e.g. Atmosphere, moons...

I was an Expert

I always communicate about my Inquiry learning.

Next time I need to present my thinking in a different way.

MWALT: read Narrative stories and to look at the meanings of the stories. We have also done character profiles.

WILF: I can understand and talk adout a story 

I can identify what a character is like from a story.

This Poem was about a guy talking about a ece and falling from a high building ledge.

Writing 100

The duck who lost everything 

Once upon a time not long a ago there was a little duck his name was josh. One day he was going to the beach. He was going with his girlfriend. Her name was Lucy she was very sweet and if you didn't know they are also ducks. So they got a picnic blanket and a basket and then packed lunch and got in the car. The car was little and blue. So when they got there they went for a swim. Josh forgot to lock the car. And he had left his keys on the beach. He had forgot about them because he was jumping the waves with his girlfriend. After a long day josh had to go and drop off Lucy. But then they got onto the beach josh could not find his keys. Lucy on the other hand was so worried. Then josh said ‘I found them” when josh dropped  Lucy off he went home. The next day josh got up and he couldn't  find his jandle and remembered,... He had left  them at the the Beach
