WALT: develop the skills or batting, bowling, throwing, and fielding in cricket WILF: - overarm throwing when fielding - catching with hands held like a basket - straight arm bowling - eyes on the ball and move the bat all the way through when batting The skill I am best at is batting because I can hit the ball. My next step is to catch with my hands like a basket

Athletics 2016

WALT: develop fundamental skills required for athletics WILF: - Correct technique for throwing the discus and shotput Correct technique for long jump and high jump Passing the baton accurately in relay sprints I am proud of my high jump because I didn't knock the bar down. Next year I would like to be a champ My best event was the long distance and the short distance because I came first in both.

Reading term 4

WALT: listen to a novel and reflect on the story as we think about the characters, settling, plot and the authors  purpose. 

Excellence

WALT:  display excellence in all that we do

WILF: has been 'me' displaying 'my best, a can do attitude' in different situations, environments and in my learning.

Next Step:  I believe I still need to work on showing excellence in spelling  I will do my best to do this in 2017.

Reciprocal reading, taking turns at I clarifying, summarising, predicting and questioning. We take one week to read one story.

My Next step: is to summarise and use key words main information.

Maths workshops term 2

WALT: understand, make and use fractions in the context of volume and capacity 

In our workshops I choose takes to help me practice making, using and writing fraction.

Reading

Reading

For reading I read with Miss Northe we read a stories and poems. I like reading stories.

Writing a letter

We had to write a letter to someone and why. I was writing for supplies. We also had to do a plan. 

WALT: write an imaginative letter from another planet using the correct letter format.

Use interesting sentence beginnings and a variety of sentence lengths

Use adverbs and adjectives to describe details in my sentences

MY NEXT STEPS: to add more detail

Journey to Pluto

Task: write a set of instructions on how to get from Earth to a planet of your choice.

WALT:

- a chosen planet’s location in the solar system.

- a chosen planet’s distance from earth.

- planets you will pass by to get to the chosen planet.

- obstacles that may be on the journey, e.g. Atmosphere, moons...

I was an Expert

Writing 100

The duck who lost everything 

Once upon a time not long a ago there was a little duck his name was josh. One day he was going to the beach. He was going with his girlfriend. Her name was Lucy she was very sweet and if you didn't know they are also ducks. So they got a picnic blanket and a basket and then packed lunch and got in the car. The car was little and blue. So when they got there they went for a swim. Josh forgot to lock the car. And he had left his keys on the beach. He had forgot about them because he was jumping the waves with his girlfriend. After a long day josh had to go and drop off Lucy. But then they got onto the beach josh could not find his keys. Lucy on the other hand was so worried. Then josh said ‘I found them” when josh dropped  Lucy off he went home. The next day josh got up and he couldn't  find his jandle and remembered,... He had left  them at the the Beach

For drama we are doing a script for Charlie and the chocolate factory And we are poring it to our parents

I have been reading with Ms North.We have been remembering main parts of the story.

We allso do reading egg Laim and  Rudy + me and Mrs North we allso read with the candidate teachers.

We read a book for the week and then we get a new book on Monday.

What I did to keep safe was to do the opposite of harzards I kept safe biking.
